PRIVACY POLICY

We at A Peace of Werk value the privacy of our partners and customers. We do not sell any personal information to other companies—we sell books, gifts, and stationery products, not data. The following privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”), as modified from time to time, describes our practices in connection with information collected through A Peace of Werk and domain names, any other linked pages, features, content, mobile applications, and any other services we offer from time to time in connection with any of the foregoing (collectively, the “Site”).

By visiting or using the Site, you agree to the practices and policies set forth in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site. We reserve the right to modify or amend the terms of our Privacy Policy from time to time without notice. Your continued use of our Site following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes.

Personal information we collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

How do we use your personal information?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with you;
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

• Personalize and improve the Services and provide advertisements, content or
features that match user profiles or interests;
• Facilitate contests, sweepstakes and promotions, and process and deliver entries and rewards;
• Link or combine with information we get from others to help understand your needs and provide you with better service; and
• Carry out any other purpose for which the information was collected.

I am based in the United States and the information I collect is governed by U.S. law. By accessing or using the Services or otherwise providing information to me, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to the U.S. and other countries.

Sharing you personal Information
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. However, we do not and will not sell your personal information to any third party outside of a Peace of Werk, and will only share personal information as provided below and within our company and as previously mentioned.

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Your rights
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Data retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

Online Privacy-Minors
A Peace of Werk respects the privacy of children and we are committed to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). This Site does not knowingly collect, solicit, use, or disclose personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for the Site or send any information about yourself to us. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to us. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information immediately.

We remind and encourage all parents to check and monitor their children’s online activities. Parents have the right to review and have deleted any personal information we may have inadvertently collected from their children, and refuse to permit further collection of that information. A Peace of Werk is also committed to protecting the online privacy rights of minors under the age of 18. If you are a California resident under the age of 18, you may request the removal of any user content or information posted by you on our Site by contacting us directly. In your request, please specify clearly what information you have posted that you would like us to remove. We will comply with your request as soon as practicable. Please note, however, that our removal of any content or information posted by you from our Site does not ensure the complete or comprehensive removal of the content or information from the internet, and in certain situations we may not be able to remove the content, such as when we are required by law to maintain the content.

Notice to Non-US Users & GDPR Compliance
In compliance with the requirements of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), if you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. Changes to Privacy Policy
We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Please look at the effective date at the top of this Privacy Policy to see when this Privacy Policy was last revised. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on the Site.
